We’re looking for a BI Developer & Database Administrator to join the Systems Development team. This role will take responsibility for the production of new business reports and the on-going system maintenance of our BI solution. You’d also be responsible for the on-going pro-active maintenance and support of the application and the production of new business reports. The successful person will have a strong understanding of the retail environment and process, coupled with experience using SSRS and SAS, including the maintenance of cubes.
Merchandising Industrial Placement
We are currently recruiting for one year Merchandising Industrial Placement for the academic year 2014-15. We offer a year-long paid placement starting in summer 2014 for students wishing to gain Head Office experience in their sandwich year. The deadline for applications will be Friday 14th 7th March 2014. Please note to be eligible for our industrial placements you must be a current undergraduate and required to spend a year in industry in order to complete your degree. We’re looking for students who are currently studying a merchandising or maths related subject and are eager to develop a career in retail.
Merchandising Project Trainer
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience of developing and implementing training within a similar business to White Stuff. This role will initially focus on supporting Buying & Merchandising Technical Training with existing and new employees. You’ll be assessing technical training needs and skill gaps within these teams and coordinating the appropriate training to drive best practice across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong training skills and a good understand of the fashion retail business. We’re looking for someone who has worked in similar roles before or as an experienced Senior Merchandiser. Experience with Navision is preferable but not essential.
Campaign Marketing Manager
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Campaign Marketing Manager to join our Marketing. This role will manage, implement and report on cross channel marketing campaigns while supporting the business strategy to drive sales and growth through a variety of offline and online activities. You’ll be planning retention and acquisition strategies for regular catalogue mailings and other Direct Mail campaigns as well as planning and executing national cross channel sales driving events. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within retail. You’ll bring a proactive approach, industry insight and an eagerness to keep up to speed with all competitor developments. We’re looking for some with a strong digital skill set and excellent campaign management experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised PR Assistant to join the Marketing team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Press Officer & Press Consultant in the implementation of a targeted PR strategy to increase brand awareness, and sales through consumer, trade and local PR. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a keen interest in fashion and social media. You’ll have some work experience within PR to bring a highly organised, multi-tasking and self-managed approach to the role. An exciting opportunity has come up for a Shop Development Project Manager at White Stuff. This role will be responsible for the implementation of Shop Development projects, new shop openings, shop re-sites and extensions, and shop refurbishments. You’ll be producing project schedules and programmes to meet agreed targets and managing project finances. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can build relationships with ease and is familiar with liaising with landlords & local architects, contractors, suppliers and developers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in retail and in a small busy team with constantly changing priorities. You’ll have a proactive working approach with the ability to work with autonomy and meet timescales and deadlines under pressure. We’re looking for someone who is organised, a forward thinking and confident in making decisions. You’ll also need experience of site health & safety & retail planning & building control regulations.
Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Shop Development team at White Stuff on a maternity cover basis. This role will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of Shop Development projects and to support the Maintenance Manager with major repairs and holiday cover. You’ll be assisting with procurement on new projects by processing quotations and purchase orders and acting as the main point of contact across the business. You’ll also be getting involved with compliance assistance, liaising with contractors, budgets and forecasts, and Health and Safety. We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar position working in a small, busy team. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing priorities and have a proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and build solid working relationships. You’ll have good organisation and communication skills along with a focus on meeting deadlines.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Junior Womenswear Designer to join our lovely Design team. We’re known for our beautiful garments at White Stuff and we’re looking for someone to help design our gorgeous So Glad & Very collection as well as our skirts. You must be an experienced Junior Designer from a fashion retail background with quirky and feminine style which matched our brand handwriting. Area Visual Merchandiser
South Area (geographically between London, Cambridge, Nottingham and Cheltenham)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Area Visual Merchandiser to join the Retail South team. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting all their stores in delivering visual excellence throughout the Area. You’ll work closely with the VM team to contribute to White Stuff visual strategy, and work alongside the Store Managers and Area Managers to deliver this in shops. The Area VM is responsible for ensuring our shops are visually strong and maintain our retail standards and brand values. You’ll assist in new shop openings, refits and re-sites. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Area Visual Merchandising within Fashion Retail and a creative flair. As this is a field based role, you’ll also need a full driving license.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Area Visual Merchandiser to join the Retail West team. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting all their stores in delivering visual excellence throughout the Area. You’ll work closely with the VM team to contribute to White Stuff visual strategy, and work alongside the Store Managers and Area Managers to deliver this in shops. The Area VM is responsible for ensuring our shops are visually strong and maintain our retail standards and brand values. You’ll assist in new shop openings, refits and re-sites. Footwear Buyer (Maternity Cover)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Footwear Buyer to join the White Stuff Buying team on a Maternity Cover contract. This role is responsible for creating exciting, balanced and commercial ranges for our lovely White Stuff customers which cover all product categories across the seasons. You’ll also ensure the critical path is achieved on time, also that excellent quality and quantity is achieved within budget. We’re looking for an experience Footwear Buyer who has come from an established fashion retail background. You’ll also have a ‘hands-on’ approach to your work and strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
Wovens Buyer (Maternity Cover)
Our wovens team are looking for a Buyer who will responsible for creating exciting, balanced and commercial ranges for our lovely White Stuff customers. This role will be suited to an individual with knowledge of wovens and strong business and commercial acumen. We’re looking for someone with a ‘hands-on’ approach to their work and come from an established fashion retail background.
Buyer’s Admin Assistants
We’re looking for people to provide administration support to the Buying Teams by managing the purchase order system, critical path and product management and storage. This position is ideally suited to a recent Fashion graduate looking to pursue a career in Buying.
We love to nurture future talent here at White Stuff and offer unpaid placements for a variety of teams at our Head Office in London. We will cover your travel expenses within London (Zones 1-6) and your lunch expenses
Previous work experience within fashion retail or a related degree would be a definite advantage but isn’t essential. What we really love to see is enthusiasm, passion and sleeves rolled up ready to go! In return you’ll gain valuable industry experience in a quirky but very lovely environment.
