your returns choices

Looking to return something you bought online? You'll find out how to do it in this section.

Sometimes, something you order isn't quite right so we've made it really easy for you to return your order to us.

If you would like to return something, you can do so by using your free returns label (mainland UK only) which you'll find at the bottom of your despatch note. This is a free service. Just send your order back to us using the free returns label originally enclosed. If possible, please return any tags and packaging at the same time.

You can return all or part of your order to us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund the value of the goods returned to you.

Changed your mind? No problem. There's something called the ‘Distance Selling Regulations' to protect people who buy online and want to cancel their orders. To find out how to cancel your order, please click here.

Please try underwear and swimwear on over the top of your clothing (it's the only time you can dress like a superhero and get away with it).

If you are returning shoes or boots, we request that you return them in their original box and pack them as securely as possible to avoid them becoming damaged in transit. Thanks, we appreciate it!

Please note: if you're returning something to us, you must take reasonable care of it when it's with you. Otherwise we may have to send the girls round…

Always ask for a 'Proof of Posting' certificate from the post office when posting stuff to us as we cannot be held responsible for goods that get lost in transit (your statutory rights are not affected). We recommend you keep your proof of posting safe, just in case.

Returned gift items still have to be refunded to the original purchaser. If you want to swap or return your gift, we can't keep it a secret from the person who bought it for you!

* Unfortunately we cannot offer free returns outside of the UK. If you wish to return your order (or part of it) from overseas then you will need to pay postage.

lost returns label/form

If you have lost your free returns label/form you can call our Customer Care team on 020 7735 8133 or email mailorder@whitestuff.com and we will send you a new one. You can use any packaging to return your order to us.

In order for us to find your order and handle your return please make sure you include the following information in your email to us:

  • • Your name & full address
  • • Contact telephone number
  • • Order number
  • • Name of item
  • • Reason for returning/description of fault
  • • Whether you would like an exchange or a refund

how to exchange something

If you want to swap an item, please make sure you specify the colour and size you'd like. Refunds can only be credited back by the original payment method - i.e. onto the same credit card you used or by gift card if you paid that way.

Unfortunately we cannot swap items bought using Paypal. We can only refund you.

We do not pay for the return postage of overseas items.

return to your local shop

You can return your order to selected White Stuff shops for a refund or exchange. You will need to bring your despatch note and a valid form of I.D. such as a passport, driving licence or credit card.

If you return your whole order within 7 working days of receiving it, we will also refund your delivery cost.

This returns service is currently available in all White Stuff shops with the following exceptions:

  • Copenhagen
  • Guernsey
  • White Stuff Concessions (John Lewis, House of Fraser etc)

Here's how it works:

If you want to cancel your order after it has been sent, you can. Just return your stuff to us within 7 working days of receiving it.

If you return the whole order within 7 working days of receipt, we will refund your full order including delivery cost.

Unfortunately, if you only return some of the items from your original order, we will not be able to refund your delivery cost.
