I had a good feeling about this one ....
...when I saw this on line and I was right. This doesn't look overly exciting in the photograph but it is a nicely designed knit. White Stuff have been making oversized knits, for a few years now, with varying degrees of success when it comes to sizing, I think. I'm an 8 and I have bought the small and I love it. It looks slouchy in the picture but in reality it's more 'swingy' - it kicks out at the back into more of a swing style. Whilst this isn't a fitted item, and it is oversized, it's got a better cut compared to some items in recent years and the blue that creeps around the sides into 2 triangles creates an optical illusion that makes the jumper appear to hang straighter at the front and look more fitted than past items. It looks thin, it's kind of light to medium weight in thickness but it is warmer than you might expect. A little itchy but for winter it would need a long sleeved tee under it anyway. Looks lovely over skinny jeans and with a scarf. Try it!

I has hoping this might break up my constant wearing of both my cream and navy Bright Young Things jumpers, but alas, it was not meant to be. I love the picture, but in true life form it just doesn't fit right. The selves seemed more a three quater length, or certainly an inch or so from the wrist and the hem and shape of the jumper is just too square and bulked me up massively. The length is good as it came over my bum. Also the sleeves are almost bat wing like as it's quite baggy (I got a medium and usually buy 12's for jumpers). I'm not sure if this is meant to be the effect, but I had to pull the sleeves up quite high around my bicep/shoulder area as the join of 2 colours meeting was quite tight.
It isn't itchy though and that was nice, the colours compliment one another well, just such a shame this didn't fit like the picture looked.
