lovely flattering fit
really please with the fit of the shirt, tighter on the arms but looser over my tummy!

Off set buttons
I like WS jersey shirts and had hoped this one would be added to my collection. Unfortunately the buttons were just in the wrong place and it pulled across the bust and gaped, sizing up didn't really help with this problems so reluctantly it was sent back.
On the positive side, it is lovely and soft and a flattering shape, on trend 3/4 length sleeves and excellent value.

Versatile and Cosy
I have several of these lovely soft shirts and was pleased when the plum colour came out - I wear these with a mini kilt, jeans or denim skirt - they are warm and cosy - I don't like the roll back sleeves/taps and usually remove the tabs and then wear the sleeves down to the wrist- they are a nuisance when ironing. Ironing the sleeves inside out gets the best result - This shirt looks good with layering, vests, gillet/cardis.

Purchased it in grey and will buy another colour soon. Can be smart or casual so great for work or play. I generally wear it with jeans. Love the sleeve length and overall design. Thank you again White Stuff. Other reviewers have said its difficult to iron but I haven't had any problems

A wardrobe basic.
I have this shirt in three colours. It looks like a dream work shirt, but is a pain to iron. It's soft, stretchy and goes with anything. A neutral, wardrobe basic. One shirt developed little holes on the seam at the neck, which couldn't be repaired without showing. A good basic buy to build up a wardrobe.
The adjustable sleeve length feature is a White Stuff staple and very useful in this garment.

I love this shirt as the material is soft and comfortable. I do find that I need to wear a vest under it as the top button is quite low on me. Looks lovely with a nice pair of jeans.

I have the grey top. I was a bit disappointed that the fabric was a bit thin but it is comfortable and did wash well. It is not so easy to iron though!

Great colour, perfect fit
I love this shirt and the 'soft beetroot' colour is fab. It is smart, yet comfy and a good fit.
I normally find that WS shirts gape at the bust and being broad shouldered, I usually have to go up a size (to size 16) - this often makes the shirts a bit sack like. However, this is not the case, and despite wearing a larger size, it still looks fitted.
Washing is not a problem, I just wash in a cold wash, and if you hang it up after, there is no need to iron!!

I have this shirt in both the grey and white ....and currently ordering two more! They are easy to wear, very comfortable and flattering !
They are a bit fiddly to iron although have managed to wash, hang up and get away without ironing so it's all good :0)

Fitted shirt, easy care
Absolutely lovely fit, shows off your figure really nicely. The material is a bit thin but will be perfect for summer. Washes well too.

I have bought this shirt in white, I also have a pink one very similar from last season.
Great staple piece for your wardrobe, looks great on it's own or layered with a nice vest. It doesn't gape & sits nicely everywhere.
My only concern with these shirts is the delicate shell buttons. Last year I had to take my pink one back to the shop for an exchange as one of the buttons snapped in half. The buttons are so fragile & thin that you have to be very careful when doing them up. I tend to hand wash nearly all of my WS clothes, this way the buttons on this shirt don't get damaged. Sturdier buttons would work better WS!

Washed it once and holes appeared!
I love this shirt but after one wash two holes appeared by the front seam. I am cheesed off to say the least! The quality of fabric is poor in so many garments. A waste of money.

I have this shirt in blackcurrant and just love it. It's so soft to wear, comfortable and fits well. I don't usually buy shirts because they usually gape at the bust line and look hideous - this one is so different. Have washed it several times and still looks like new. Think I'll try the grey version next.
23 February 2014
I was a little hesitant about the fabric of this shirt, but i needn't have worried. It fits really nicely and is very easy to wear.

not colour fast ( purple haze)
I agree with others its a nice shirt, comfortable, fabric a bit thin and a hole has appeared near to where button on sleeve is attached. Also a bit low cut so I tend to wear a vest underneath. Biggest disappointment with the purple haze is that unless you want all your washing this colour it needs to be hand washed....so much colour coming out even after 5 washes.

Must have shirt
The Garden Power shirts are a must have for jersey tops lovers - the quality, fit & colours are great and they are also good value for money. True to size and wash well. I can't fault them at all so far and I have 3 of them, bought at different times in the last 2 years. Get it or regret it :-)

My favourite shirts
I have two of these shirts and they are so comfortable. I looked at the website a couple of days ago and was delighted to see that there was now a teal version. I checked again yesterday - and it has disappeared. Where has it gone?? I was hoping to pick one up in the shop next week.

Lovely - but not my colour :(
I wanted a blackcurrant colour but all sold out so ordered the beetroot colour - beautiful, soft, durable and so pretty..but sadly made me look a bit 'lost' due to it being such a strong shade of almost burgundy/claret/wine - it rather overwhelmed me :( It would suit someone with lovely auburn-haired colouring I think or else, someone wearing powerful, strong makeup - erm, not me I'm afraid !) Sadly sent back.

so good, I've got it in several colours
So wearable. Looks especially good with jeans. I also got the short sleeve version last year which is very useful under a jumper.

My Teaching Assistant wore this for the first time today. She's a well kept 50 and looked very trim. Nice quality, good fit. Good match with the Carrington tube skirt.
30 January 2014
This is a lovely shirt although came up a little large in size. The purple colour is a lot more stunning than the pics suggest. The front is a little low but a jumper over the top keeps it in check.
18 January 2014
This shirt is fab-a little snug on the arms initially, but not too tight. The colour is great with a dark skirt, tights and boots.
16 January 2014
Poor quality - looked great
I bought this in purple and was extremely pleased with it. The colour looked good, it fitted well and was extremely comfortable to wear. However, on the third wash holes started to appear. I persevered because I liked it so much. I repaired the holes, but it's just not possible to repair anymore which is extremely disappointing. I will take it back to the store I bought it from. I hope White Stuff are as disappointed as I am.
14 January 2014
Nice fit and design
I ordered a 10 and 8, as I wasn't sure of the fit, going by the reviews. I kept the 8 as I prefer a neater, snug fit - it is quite close-fitting on the arms, but stretches with wear. The quality and material are excellent and it is a useful top to have and smart enough for dressing up or down.
02 January 2014
Tight on arms
I loved the fitted shape of this shirt, but found it tight on the arms so it had to go back. The fit on the arms was definitely tighter than the nikita and lotus print shirts, both of which I have and love.

Another good shirt from White Stuff
Bought this in the lilac/fuschia shade.
The shirt is slightly shaped at the waist, so nice with skirts.
I also have a "Good Day" shirt - prefer this one as the material is finer.
The fit is ok - although I would say slightly tighter around the bust than usual shirts of this style that White Stuff have been doing for some time (EG like "Good Day").
The colour is lovely. Can we have more colours please.
13 November 2013
Bought this in blackcurrant, which is a gorgeous deep purple colour. Had to size up to a 12 from my normal White Stuff size 10. I am wearing it for work and with jeans.
11 November 2013
Like the two different materials in the grey shirt, and particularly the collar. I'm a size 14, 36B, and found it a bit tight under the arms and was pulling, so it seemed on the small side, and could have done with a bit more fabric there . Very comfy casual wear with a plunging neckline as the first button is quite low down.
11 November 2013
a useful item
a useful casual top, nicely fitted and looks good with a skirt or jeans. I'm between and 12 and a 14 and went for a 14 with this top which fits well.
28 October 2013
This shirt is absolutely lovely, it is made of really soft fabric and I find it so comfortable to wear. I bought it in two colours and bought two write ones as they are great for work. However, I was a bit disappointed with the quality. When I first wore the white one to work, I noticed that there were lots of tiny little holes on the shirt just right the stitches for the buttons. It has been a few weeks now that I have worn it and more and more little holes have occurred next to the buttons. Strangely that has only happened with the white shirts, not the darker coloured one. Not sure whether the material is too thin or what, but I keep wearing them anyway as they are just so comfortable and lovely fitting.
