Pretty! Had been looking at this skirt online for a while and really liked the print. Was put off with the length initially as i like skirts to sit at around 55cm [ just above the knee] as i find that length not frumpy and was worried that the extra cm might make it look a bit old fashioned on me. When i finally did decide to buy it, the 12 was sold out. Decided to chance it and buy the 10. It arrived yesterday. I agree with the other reviewer who said the bees stand out a lot less when you see the skirt in real life, which is a bit disappointing. The skirt, fit wise is actually fine and sits in a size 10, high on the waist. I have the mushroom skirt as well and it has the black pleats and in the 12 the back pleats seem to kick out a lot more which im not convinced looks that great. Because this is a size smaller, the pleats at the back sit better and im sure its due to the size being neater on my figure. I would say, if you are between sizes, you could get away with sizing down on this. As for the length, its ok but i cant help but feel that a few cm shorter on me [ im 5ft 5] would have been better in this style. I am going to keep it because i do like it and its well made [ not a really thin material] lined, and will go with lots of different tops. Its also versatile for summer with sandals, spring and winter with tights and boots. Navy will look great as does white or a pale blue blouse/t-shirt. Im not sure the bees really look like bees online or in the hand though! 08 March 2014
Hmm. I love the style of this skirt, but the colours seemed to contrast less in reality than on line so it was a bit "blue" for me, too plain, and too much like a denim skirt. If that's what you want, it is very nice, cute bees, shame the pockets from last summers version haven't been carried over. 30 January 2014
Pretty Paraball Gorgeous skirt, denim-y in colour but perfect for office wear. Got it with Papilo cardi and a green t-shirt; will wear it with plum-coloured tights and my new lace-up leather brogues. Pretty outfit! And when it gets warm enough, I'll ditch the tights. 23 January 2014
