Our Company Secretary, Rebecca Kong is running 26 miles in the London Marathon for the very first time. She’s running for Child Bereavement UK, “a charity supporting families and educating professionals to support families who are  faced with a loss of a baby or child, or if a child is facing bereavement”
Rebecca has been busy fundraising and has set up events including a coffee morning (raising £230) and a Valentine’s cake sale (raising £200). Our Finance man, Matt King (a former world champion martial artist) got involved at Casa del White Stuff by donning his full protective martial arts gear and inviting people to come and whack him as hard as they can in return for a donation. Matt’s whack attack raised a fantastic £250.64.

Rebecca has been recording her progress on her Twitter feed @wobblyjogger1. She shares how she is feeling and her latest developments. Reading her diary, you can see that she doesn’t find her ambition an easy adventure; she has torn a small calf muscle and is now going to have to endure extra suffering for the big day. But despite the injuries, she hasn’t lost sight of why she is doing this 26 mile run. She’s eager to beat her goal and raise as much money as she can for Child Bereavement UK, her well-deserved charity, to help the lives of others.

Rebecca’s aim is to get a final donation of £2500.
