With holiday season on the horizon, top of our agenda is finding the perfect holiday wardrobes that'll take you from long-weekend staycations to city breaks, to beach escapes in style. To give us a helping hand, we've turned to our favourite bloggers to share their style hacks for each and every eventuality.
When I pack for a city break, my main priorities are style and comfort - there's nothing worse than exploring the streets of somewhere amazing if your feet hurt, you're too cold or you've got a really awkward bag to carry around. This tee and trousers combo with a cross-body bag is perfect for shopping and sight-seeing.
For a seaside staycation I've picked four key pieces which you can easily mix and match with other items in your suitcase. As we're living in the UK, it's clearly important to work with layering your look. For me a denim jacket is an essential. You can style it in so many ways, with a pair of trousers, a dress, shorts, the list goes on. I personally like to pop the collar and roll the sleeves to give the look a modern edge. As you can see I've styled this jacket with a detailed tee, cropped trouser and a pointed shoe. This look is ideal for walks on the beach and coffee dates.
After booking a trip to Bali, I decided it was time to whip my summer wardrobe into shape. Cue The Holiday Shop from White Stuff - it's a really gorgeous brand and the summer offering is so chic... This denim jumpsuit is a fun, modern alternative to the classic sundress and the belted waist makes for a flattering silhouette. It's also really versatile - perfect for a sunny trip away but you could also add loafers and a chic cardigan for an everyday look. I paired it with these cute pink sandals and a super easy brown tote bag with braided handles - great size for carrying beach essentials but also versatile enough to use at home, too.
