Join the Park Ranger for a walk around Woodthorpe Grange Park exploring the autumn trees and wildlife. The conditions may be wet & muddy so please wear suitable footwear and clothing
Experience the magic of a truly traditional Christmas. Rooms in the magnificent historic house will sparkle with Christmas lights and be decorated with impressive floral displays and garlands. Seasonal crafts in the cloisters will give you a chance to pick up those last minute Christmas gifts and, to complete your visit, treat yourself to some Christmas fare in the Cafe.
Decorate a selection of papers using hand-embellishment to create your own gift boxes. Then learn the art of paper folding to finish your piece.
Have you a passion for sewing? Or have you ever wanted to start? We are asking for people to get their creative cap on and design a patch for our lovely White Stuff patch work quilt. It's a great opportunity to show off your great talent and be involved in raising money for our in store charity P.A.S.I.C. We are asking customers to take a patch work quilt kit home with you to create your own patch. There is a suggested donation of £2, or feel free to bring your own fabric patch in. Template dimensions-5 inch x 5 inch in a washable fabric. Each patch will them be sewn together to create a quilt to be raffled off on the 10th December 2014. All the proceeds will go to PASIC. !
As part of our 'How do you cosy' quilt, we are holding an afternoon of sewing fun 12- 4pm on 8th November for a chance for our lovely white stuff shoppers to create a patch for our instore patch work quilt. You will be entered into a raffle and have a chance to win the quilt and other great prizes!!!!You can spend the afternoon learning different sewing techniques with an in store specialist, Haley to create a lovely patch for our quilt!!Please contact the shop to make a booking with their very own personal stylist!
