With 250 tonnes of golden sands, our themed fully licensed beach bar, giant paddling pool, fun family rides and games, there is something for everyone at the Nottingham beach. This year's event promises to be even better than before. So bring your family down to the Old Market Square in the centre of Nottingham, pull up a deckchair and enjoy the fun!
.Wollaton Hall country house is now Nottingham Natural History Museum, with Nottingham Industrial Museum in the out-buildings. The surrounding park land includes immaculately kept formal gardens, a botanic garden and the oldest cast iron glasshouse in Europe.Tickets cost £12 for each screening, but can be purchased for the earlybird price of £10.50 up to six weeks in advance. Under 5s go free.
The annual festival celebrates South Asian arts and culture through vibrant events and activities across Nottingham. This year's Mela festival coincides with the One-Day International India vs. England cricket match at Trent Bridge, to present a weekend of Culture, Games and History. Visitors can enjoy an exciting selection of food, film, theatre, music, digital projects, family workshops, and visual arts.
In shops, we have our very own ‘White Stuff Guide to Summer’ board featuring local events and activities taking place throughout the summer. Our shopkeepers have also helped us put together an online guide featuring hundreds a fun events to keep you entertained this summer!
We've had some great entries to our Footie Selfie competition so far. The competition prize is an amazing 7 night holiday to Watergate Bay with Beach Retreats.
