Southampton Play Day is an annual free event, during which Southampton children’s organisations and independent volunteers work together to provide a variety of fun play activities for the city’s children and their families. SCPA play workers and volunteers support the other organisations to deliver their activities to the children.
Take a step back in time at Southampton Maritime Festival as it commemorates the wartime and maritime history of the South. During this two-day event many historic ships and vessels will be making their way into dock to join the festival. These include the national historic fleet’s HMS Medusa. You can learn about each vessel’s role in the world wars, see heritage divers and experience Southampton’s wider wartime history. With over 12,000 visitors last year this really is a highlight of the summer! An adult single day ticket is £5.
