FOREST OF DEAN DRESS
I nearly passed this dress by on the rack, but tried it on and love it. It was good to see that the v neck had a "modesty" piece of fabric sewn in. So many of this style dresses don't have them and I hate cleavage.
I've just worn the dress to an interview. Didn't get the job but I felt confident in the dress :)

Better on the model in the photo than on me!
So wanted to love this dress but it just didn't work for me for various reasons. Initially I was put off by the weight of the fabric which I thought was way too thin and lightweight, as a consequence of which I didn't think it very practical for winter wear. Also, it meant it didn't hang very well and, instead, clung to all of those places I would rather it skimmed over! A heavier jersey material would have been much better. The colour was much more drab 'in the flesh', rather a dull sludgy green/grey. Also, the placket around the neckline did not sit flat against my chest, but gaped, unflatteringly. Not sure that the length was very flattering on me either. At almost 5ft 7" I could have done with it being a tiny bit longer.

Love the bust modesty panel!
I wasn't sure when I first tried this on, I wanted to love it as the colours are vibrant and the clocks pattern is very different, so I went with my gut feeling and wore it at a friends birthday meal that evening...I teamed it up with some grey metallic tights and my gorgeous White Stuff cranberry suede wedges ... I got soooo many flattering comments and pleas of 'can I borrow it'! A winner for me! Can't wait for more occasions to feel great in it!
