Wet, Wet, Wet

Leave wet handbags to dry naturally, never use artificial heat. Stuffing your bag with paper will help maintain the shape of your bag as it dries. In the event of suede or leather becoming wet during wear, avoid contact with light materials as colour transfer may occur.

Before cleaning, make sure the item is dry and remove any dirt.
Due to the fine nature of suede pieces, extra care should be taken when cleaning. Gentle use of a suede brush will remove most stains. Regular use of a protector spray will help provide invisible protection against rain, water and staining. Protector spray will help with water resistance but it will not make your item waterproof. When using protector spray, test on a small area first and always read the label.

Heel Help

On certain styles there are 'top pieces' on heels (heel caps) and these are a replaceable component. Don't allow them to wear down as this could result in damaging the rest of the heel. They should be replaced regularly by a reputable and friendly cobbler.

Save our Soles

Leather soles are a natural product and give a premium, luxury finish to a shoe. However, leather soles are porous in wet conditions. To maintain the life of your soles, it's best not to wear them in the rain or wet conditions. To prolong the life and wear of leather soles, we also recommend that fine half-rubber soles are fitted. This can be done at most cobblers.

Fancy Feet

Shoes embellished with beads and sequins are especially delicate. Please take particular care when wearing, as scuffing may occur.
