We are always looking for new ways to do original things, which is why we've teamed up with Chelsea College of Art's textile design student, Cordelia Blair-Stickland to create a collection of prints for our latest collection.

What inspired your
print designs for
your collection?

When designing this collection, I sought inspiration from the beautiful exotic plants found in the botanical glass houses in Kew Gardens, where I have spent many summers exploring. I love the organic fluid forms found in nature, and within my prints these abstract shapes, mixed with my graphic illustrations, provide a striking contrast to each other. I wanted to create the sensation of being immersed within nature.

What is your
design process?

For me drawing and painting are fundamental to my design process, initially I start by deconstructing the shapes and patterns I find in nature to create my prints. I then transfer my designs onto the computer and work out the finer compositional elements until I am pleased with the final result, this is the really fun bit where you get to be totally experimental with the colours and textures within your prints.

My favourite piece
from the collection

My favourite piece from the collection would have to be the Buttercup linen mix skirt. The bright bold pattern makes for the perfect standout statement item in your wardrobe and can be easily transitioned from day to evening by simply pairing with a jacket and heels.

What do you think of the collection?

The collection is a celebration of both colour and pattern, ideal for the transition from spring to summer. The designs have been carefully curated so that you can easily mix and match different pieces within the collection to suit your own individual style.
