Va Va
Voooooooom

Oooh la la! A new way to see the sights in the city of lights.

How does a typical Paris trip shape up? Visit a gallery or two, restaurants, shopping and of course the usual tourist traps like the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Been there, seen and done it? How about seeing the city from a whole new perspective?

A 800m zip wire has been installed from the second floor of Eiffel Tower, some 115 metres above ground. The ride takes around a minute to complete and propels thrill seekers at 90km/h towards a distant platform in the Champs de Mars Park.

If such a leap of faith is your cup of tea, then get your bags packed. The only downside we can see is that when you reach the end and are unwrapped from the rig, it's a heck of a long walk back to find your group who you left at the foot of the tower kindly holding your coat or bag.
