WE’RE GOING WINTER SOLSTICE-ING
Yes, it counts as a party. We’re starting with a silky bias cut dress. The colour of frankincense and myrrh. With a velvety duster coat layered on top. It’s patterned with different colours. A bit like a party in a jacket. And because we’ll be heading for the hills to celebrate the solstice, some studded shoes. It’s the shortest day of the year.
(And so the longest evening.)
THE LAST CHRISTMAS PARTY
Dramatic, isn’t it? The final hurrah before actual Christmas. So we’re pulling out all the stops. Polka dot tulle. Swishy, frilly tiers that look great on the dance floor. Embroidered western boots and sparkly socks. Playing with shapes and textures. And then asking (begging) the DJ to play Last Christmas before the night’s up.
BOXING DAY IN THE WILD
Also known as the post-Christmas pub lunch and walk. And we’re doing it in a dress that knows how to party. It’s all about the textured details, like velvet trim tiers. Gold sparkly thread to catch the sunlight. We’re layering our newly-gifted Christmas knits over, to jazz things up. Accessorising with a plaited belt. Some delicate earrings too. Best-dressed at the pub. (That’s what they’ll call us.)
SHIMMYING INTO THE NEW YEAR
(And shimmering.) Just look at those metallic florals. The voluminous sleeves and cuff detail. It’s a dress that reminds us of streamers, disco balls. Sparkly new year excitement. So of course we’re adding matching metallic boots. And a velvet kimono jacket. Oversized for effortless cool. Made for us to sing Auld Lang Syne in.
